Job Summary

We are a leading manufacturer of Quarry & Material Handling equipment seeking a skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly of heavy construction equipment using both hand and power tools, ensuring that all components meet quality standards. This position requires a solid understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to work efficiently in a workshop environment.

Duties

Assemble components and products according to specifications and blueprints. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process. Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet required standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to improve assembly processes and efficiency. Report any defects or issues with materials or equipment to supervisors promptly. Assist in inventory management by tracking parts used during assembly.

Qualifications

Experience of 3 years working with Crushers, Screeners, Conveyors or other construction equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand hydraulics & electric systems. Powerpack & Screen assembly experience an advantage but not essential Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good physical stamina, as the role may require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
