We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products with precision, ensuring quality standards are met. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in mechanical work and hands-on tasks within a dynamic warehouse environment.
Duties
Assemble various components and products according to technical specifications and diagrams
Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks efficiently and accurately
Inspect assembled parts for quality, defects, or inconsistencies
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace
Assist in the packaging and preparation of finished goods for shipment
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and any issues encountered
Requirements
Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, or instructions
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
An Exciting opportunity has arisen to join an expanding company within the Kitchen, Bedroom and Bathroom Furniture (KBB) Sector based in Stafford (Staffordshire). We have 2 opportunities available to work in our mill within a great existing team.
Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided for the role.
Operating the following;
Panel Edger's
Panel End Drilling machinery
Panel Saw
Applicants must be enthusiastic, proactive, able to meet deadlines and work as part of a team as well as using their own initiative including the ability to work within Health and Safety Guidelines.
Meets national minimum wage with a bonus scheme in place.
The Hours will be 8am - 4:30pm (Mon - Fri)
There is overtime available with potential future shift work.
