On this allocated shift pattern, the employee will receive a

shift premium in addition to their hourly rate.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Our ideal candidate will be preferably educated to GCSE standard, level 4 and above and must include Maths and English.
The Role will include
To follow all safety policies and special rule requirements that is required within the ammunition assembly area.
To operate training ammunition assembly machines and all ancillary equipment. To inspect finished product, record data on a database and complete relevant written documentation.
To pack components, wrap inner boxes and add labels to packaging as required
To ensure production quality standards are being maintained.
To respond to and rectify some faults identified by machine control
To assist with making machine adjustments as required.
To maintain and lubricate equipment as necessary
To maintain at all times, a clean and tidy work area as well as neat and precise paperwork.
To carry out testing and sorting of components.
To assist in building small batch runs on hand jigs.
To assist with machine changeovers and machine maintenance.
Any other duties as may be required

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The Assembly Machine Operator will have:
Experience in a manufacturing/engineering background
Previous mechanical or machine operating skills
Must be over the age of 18
