We are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and knowledgeable
Lecturer
to teach on our
Access to Medicine and Midwifery programme
. This is a vocationally focused course designed to support adult learners aiming to progress into healthcare-related degrees.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
A minimum of
A-levels (or equivalent) in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and English
UK based qualification.
A recognised
teaching qualification
(Preferred).
Subject-specialist knowledge with the ability to teach across multiple science and core GCSE-equivalent subjects.
Previous experience teaching adult learners or Access to HE courses ( preferred).
Desirable:
Degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Biomedical Sciences, Midwifery, Nursing, Medicine, or Education).
Familiarity with Access awarding bodies .
IQA qualification or quality assurance experience in FE or HE settings.
Develop and maintain engaging course materials aligned with awarding body specifications.
Provide regular formative and summative assessment, feedback, and learner support.
Ensure a high-quality learning experience in line with internal and external quality assurance standards.
