Assessor Trainer

for Education and Childcare (T Level) (Maternity Cover)





Pro rata of 24,791 - 25,935 per annum (i.e. 12,395.50 - 12,967.50)



18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year





This role is for fixed term period of maternity cover for a maximum of one year, or the return, resignation or replacement of the current post holder, whichever is sooner.





We are recruiting for a part time Assessor Trainer in Childcare and Education to join our friendly T Level team. We are looking for an individual with a desire to make a difference in this important sector.




You will have experience of communicating with a diverse range of learners and using a range of assessment techniques to prepare them for summative assessments. This will include observing students in work placement and conducting professional discussions to assess their competence. You will use your experience of interpreting, developing and delivering training sessions to deliver a high-quality learning experience to students on our Level 3, T Level in Education and Childcare course.



You will have up to date knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and/or Teaching support in schools. It is essential that you have a subject relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification and experience in Early Years or Primary Teaching sectors. You will be able to work flexibly to meet sector requirements. An Assessor award (level 3) or teaching qualification are desirable.



We can be flexible with the hours of work and will consider requests for job share. We also have lecturer roles being advertised, where it could be possible to have a split role for the right candidate.
