Equans is looking for an Asset & Compliance Manager to join our team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.





The Asset and Compliance Manager is an integral member of the site team.



Responsible for life cycle survey management, operational performance of physical assets across the site, ensuring asset data integrity and supporting compliance with statutory maintenance requirements. Developing and implementing technical contractual performance indicators (KPI's) compliance. Lead and support internal/external audit processes, assist with collation of relevant data and documentation.



The role plays a critical part in driving data-led decision making and continuous improvement in asset and compliance management practices. You must establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and operational teams, adopt and highlight a collaborative approach to resolving issues.


What will you deliver?




Develop and maintain a comprehensive asset register aligned with industry standards and clients expectations. Collaborate with site team to ensure all maintainable assets are captured and maintained in the SOPM and CAFM. Support the integration of asset data into maintenance planning and performance reporting. Oversee the implementation and use of asset data collection tools and ensure data quality and completeness. Develop, implement an audit compliance framework system to include Prepare and consolidate audit outcomes and work with Managers identifying areas of improvement and collate improvement plans. Design and own a compliance audit plan and tools for Technical areas reporting on monthly performance against plan from Industry Standards and Guidance from within the BU. Monitor and trending of key compliance indicators producing reports to Technical Managers and assisting with closure of non-conformances. Designing, producing and delivering all of the materials necessary to allow the operational leads to follow these company standards and rectification where necessary and act as initial focal point for all queries relating to all aspects of compliance as listed. Ensure monthly reports for each discipline are submitted to Account Director, Business Support & Performance Manager, Head of Technical, verifying the accuracy and validity of each site report. Set up and maintain a Technical folder structure for each KPI / System - Statutory, Compliance and Supplier Reports ensuring full documentation maintained and up to date. Prepare and present Technical Performance reports monthly/quarterly and annually with a clear set of improvement actions to assist the Senior Management Team in understanding of general compliance across the business. Maintaining strong personal competence in the areas specifically of technical compliance matters to ensure consistent standards throughout. Undertake any other reasonable duties as required, as directed by EQUANS management.

Who are we looking for?




Experience within a Healthcare environment is advantageous. Role requires a PVG disclosure. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building services engineering asset management, technical services, and facilities operations. Good knowledge of SHTM's. Good understanding of legislative compliance requirements. Strong understanding of CAFM systems; Understanding of asset data standards is desirable. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory; Power BI and/or other data visualization tools is a plus. Lead Auditor Qualification Desirable. Ability to work to deadlines and timescales on a daily basis
