Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Asset & Facilities Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals to support the full implementation, adoption, and effectiveness of the resource planning processes and drive the associated metrics for business performance improvement.

Location:

Aberdeen, The United Kingdom with occasional national & international travel.

Key Responsibilities:



Monitors completeness and availability of equipment units for issuance. Ensure all required equipment is duly calibrated and has current certification. Responsible for compliance with respect to mandatory HSE requirements in the facility such as PAT testing and firefighting equipment. Ensure that all equipment is in working condition prior to issuance through QA/QC checks. Ensure that all damage/faulty equipment is sent to supplier/manufacturer for repair. Ensure equipment and consumables are available for upcoming jobs. Maintain adequate stock levels. Maintaining the Asset Management System, ensuring it is kept updated and current. Responsible for liaising with the supplier/ or manufacturer for new or additional items. Responsible for reducing procurement costs year on year through obtaining discounts from vendors. Responsible for preparing requisitions once quotes are approved. Responsible for preparing kit boxes/ rope access set/ NDT Kits etc. for shipment to clients or to other OES branches. Responsible for conducting PPE inspections of rope access equipment and maintaining rope access equipment inspection logs and certification (Training will be provided as required). Working with, and understanding, International Freight agents, couriers and customs. Co-ordinate with operations management and staff and assist with all operations activities as required, providing support to operations department Ensuing all safety policies are followed both onsite and around the office and warehouse. Responds to emergency situations and emails in a timely manner with follow-up. Personally, perform a variety of skill maintenance work, as required. Coordinates and maintains communication and cooperative working relationships with regional asset coordinators, clients, Operations teams and Freight forwarders alike. Consults with leadership on policies, procedures, rules, regulations and practices relating to safety efficiency and streamline paperwork. Ensuring cost effectiveness on all fronts. Working with the QHSE Coordinator responsible for HSE and Quality Management System compliance. Perform and assist with yearly evaluation process. Maintains, cleans and organizes the equipment storage area. Conduct and keep a perpetual inventory of all assets at the warehouse/storage. Track and tag all assets and ensure proper asset management. Follows and adheres to the process for equipment scrapping. Update the Asset Management System, ensure that equipment is functioning and in good condition. Strive to achieve set KPI. Follow Joulon code of conduct. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:



Previous working experience as an equipment or asset coordinator in Oil and Gas industry is preferred. Experience with ISO 17020 preferred, but not essential. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring safety and compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate computer skills as minimum
