About Us



GVG (https://www.gvggroup.com/) is an expanding consultancy delivering asset management and maintenance solutions to clients across the UK. We bring together technical engineering capability and practical delivery on site. We are now looking for an Asset Management Consultant to support our growing project portfolio.

This role is ideal for someone with a foundation in engineering or physical asset management who wants to work across multiple clients, solve real operational problems and take ownership of workstreams in a fast-paced consultancy environment.

Our Head Office is in Llandeilo, but our engineers are based across South Wales (and beyond!) with our Engineering Office in Port Talbot.

Role Overview



You will lead and support projects focused on asset management, maintenance improvement, health and safety compliance and asset data quality. This includes developing asset registers and hierarchies, configuring CMMS systems, analysing technical data, completing risk assessments and helping clients optimise their maintenance strategies.

You will work on a variety of projects, gain direct client exposure and contribute to the continued growth of our consultancy.

Renumeration is dependent on relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver asset management and maintenance improvement projects across multiple client sites Lead and support H&S risk assessments, method statements and compliance documentation Develop asset registers, asset hierarchies and structured asset data Support the configuration and optimisation of CMMS platforms such as SAP and Maximo Assist in developing maintenance strategies, PM routines and engineering improvement plans Conduct site inspections, data verification and process reviews Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality consultancy services Contribute to bids, proposals and identification of sales opportunities Solve technical challenges and identify opportunities for improvement

About You



Essential



Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or related discipline) 2+ years industry experience in engineering, maintenance or asset management Solid understanding of H&S principles Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills Confident communicator who enjoys working with clients Able to manage multiple tasks in a project-based setting Willingness to travel to client sites across the UK

Desirable



Experience delivering asset management or maintenance transformation projects Knowledge of ISO 55001 or ISO 45001 CMMS experience (SAP, Maximo or similar) Experience with asset data improvements and maintenance planning Working towards professional registration IAM membership / certification Consulting experience (or internal strategic project experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 40,000.00-65,000.00 per year
