Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team in Moseley. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the culinary and hospitality sectors, recently graduated with a passion for food safety and exceptional customer service. This role is pivotal in supporting the daily operations of the establishment, ensuring that both staff and guests have a positive experience.

Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations within the kitchen and dining areas. Supervise staff, including cooks and bartenders, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. Provide leadership and support to team members and assist to the general manager. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, enhancing guest satisfaction. Train new staff on operational procedures and best practices in food handling. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a Managerial role or supervisory role within the culinary or hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Experience in bartending or stock count is advantageous. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
