Responsibilities

Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff management and customer service. Supervise and lead a team of employees, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Help with training new staff members on restaurant and bar procedures, food safety standards, and customer service expectations. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness in the kitchen. Manage inventory levels and assist with food production to ensure timely service during peak hours. Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, bar or hospitality environment is essential. Proven track record in team management and supervising staff effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Knowledge of bartending practices is advantageous but not mandatory. Familiarity with food production processes and culinary techniques is preferred. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
