Assistant Accountant

to join our finance team and help keep our operations running smoothly as we scale.


In this role, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting reporting and compliance, and helping to streamline processes, improve controls and ensure the day-to-day efficiency of our finance function. Location Requirements




This role requires regular in office attendance. Therefore, candidates should be located in Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities



Processing purchase invoices and preparing payment runs. Raising customer invoices in accordance with project agreements and assisting with customer queries. Bank reconciliations and assist with balance sheet reconciliations. Assist with the monthly payroll process. Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and internal financial reports. Assist with VAT returns and other statutory filings. Analysis for budgeting and forecasting. Provide financial data and documentation for internal controls and process improvements. Offer general administrative and operational support to the finance team. Uphold compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Need to Have



Actively working or willingness to work towards a professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). 1-2 years' experience in an accounting or finance role. Solid understanding of core accounting principles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Exceptional attention to detail, organisational skills to manage multiple tasks, and a proactive mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team with excellent communication skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced, growing company environment. Eligibility to live and work in the UK (please note we are unable to provide VISA sponsorship).

Nice to Have



Experience working in the technology sector. Experience in payroll administration.
