The Role

We are looking for an

Assistant Accountant

to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is currently studying AAT, part-way through their AAT studies, or fully AAT qualified. You'll gain valuable experience and responsibility in a supportive environment with opportunities to progress your career.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. Assisting with VAT returns and bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients. Supporting payroll processing and CIS submissions. Communicating with clients to gather information and resolve queries. Using cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, etc.) to manage client records. Assisting senior staff with advisory and compliance work.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Is studying towards AAT, part-qualified, or fully AAT qualified. Has previous experience in an accountancy practice (preferred, but not essential). Has good knowledge of bookkeeping and VAT. Is confident using cloud accounting software and Excel. Has excellent attention to detail and time-management skills. Communicates well and enjoys working with clients.
