Part qualified recognised accountancy qualification or qualified by experience.

Minimum two years accountancy experience including:
o Reconciliation of bank accountso Sales and purchase ledger accounting

o Experience of purchasing, invoicing, petty cash and other routine financial tasks

Duties
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and reconciliations.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Utilise accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero to maintain accurate financial records.
Collaborate with team members to provide mentoring and support for junior staff in financial accounting practices.
Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing relevant financial insights.
Maintain organised records of all financial transactions and documentation for easy retrieval.
Qualifications
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of financial management principles and practices.
Experience in accounts payable or similar roles within the financial services sector is advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills to interpret financial data effectively.
