Duties:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
-Ensure correct financial procedures are followed and maintained in line with ISO which is a key part of our values.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions including expenses
- Prepare financial reports and statements using Xero and CRM (Microsoft Dynamics)
- Process month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including asset registers
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate financial reporting. Handle emails from customers, suppliers, and colleagues on related accounting matters and maintain accurate records of such emails.
- Utilize accounting software such as Xero to perform daily tasks
Additionally, this role will support the HR Director to manage day-today office tasks, assist with payroll procedures and the benefits offered by the company.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Xero (preferred),
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies or errors
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
