The Role of Assistant Accountant





The Assistant Accountant supports the finance department in managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This role is crucial in maintaining compliance with hotel policies and financial regulations while supporting the smooth financial functioning for the group of hotels.

Key Responsibilities:




Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Process invoices, payments, and expense claims in a timely manner. Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations. Assist with internal and external audits. Monitor and manage petty cash and cash flow. Prepare journal entries and assist in month-end closing activities. Ensure compliance with hotel financial policies and procedures. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
