Chippendale & Clark, a modern, forward-thinking accountancy practice in Chippenham, is looking for an
Assistant Accountant
to join our friendly team. We are looking for the right person who is keen to deliver excellent accountancy and customer service to our clients.
The successful candidate will ideally be AAT 3 qualified, either working towards Level 4 or wanting to start next year, and with at least a year of practice experience. You will understand how great bookkeeping works and be able to put together sets of accounts from software or source records if necessary.
You will be proactive in prioritising and managing time and deadlines each month. We put our clients first, so you'll need to be both approachable and adaptable in your attitude.
The key points of our offer include a salary of around 26,000. However, given the broad spectrum of experience and qualifications available, we are open to flexibility in either direction for the right person. This is for a 34-hour week with a half-day on a Friday.
At Chippendale & Clark, we value our client relationships greatly and provide a bespoke service for each one of them. There is no 'one size fits all' in our bookkeeping and accountancy services.
We recruit as much for mindset as we do for experience or technical qualifications. If you are looking to join an established accountancy practice that values its staff for who they are, as well as what qualifications they hold, we would like to meet you.
