Thames Hospice is an independent hospice based at Bray Lake, Maidenhead. Proudly serving our community for more than 36 years, we work in partnership with our local healthcare colleagues to provide specialist palliative and end-of-life care services to people aged 16 and over in their own homes and within the Hospice.



We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Assistant Accountant on a fixed term basis until 31st March 2026 to join our dedicated Finance Team. The Finance team is a small friendly team, yet their output and impact is anything but! The team supports the whole hospice and this hands-on role covers a variety of financial tasks and is a great opportunity for someone to demonstrate their broad knowledge of accounting and make a real difference.



The ideal candidate will be ambitious and detail-oriented with a solid foundation in accounts. You will be confident in financial processes and using accounting software and possess strong communication skills, with an ability to influence both internally and externally.
