Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Assistant Accountant to support a busy Accounting & Finance department based in Oxford. The role involves assisting with financial processes, reporting, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Maintain general ledger
- Support the reconciliation of accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
- Provide support during audits and comply with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with team members to improve financial processes
- Handle general administrative tasks related to accounting operations
A successful Assistant Accountant for this role should have:
