Job Description
The Tile Mountain Group is one of the fastest growing online retailers in the UK. Brands include Tile Mountain, Bathroom Mountain and Walls & Floors.
To support the Finance team we are looking to recruit an assistant accountant, who will work very closely with the Group Management Accountant. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight reporting deadlines.
The role is interesting, varied and given the growth of the business there is significant potential for career progression.
Assistant Accountant
Candidates will be involved with:
Monthly management accounts, including divisional reporting Bank and cash reconciliations Balance sheet control account reconciliations Managing the fixed asset register Intercompany transaction reconciliations Journals VAT returns Cash flow forecasts Analysis and interrogation of data
Candidates must have:
Advanced excel skills (pivot tables, IF formulas) Strong attention to detail Capability to manage large data volumes Ability to work in a structured manner Ability to present complex financial information clearly Work to tight timescales Manage their own workload and assume full responsibility for tasks
Candidates do not have to be fully qualified or part qualified. However, strong academic qualifications are preferrable.
Hours & Salary Details
Office based, 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Salary: Dependent on age/experience, circa 25,000. Potential for study support to gain a formal accounting qualification.
Job Type: Office based and Full-time (after successful probationary period).
Required experience: minimum 12 month directly comparable experience.

Pay: 25,396.80 per year
