We are constructing a state-of-the-art underground mine to enable the extraction of Polyhalite - a unique multi-nutrient fertiliser - along with the necessary infrastructure both above and below ground that will be required for transport, processing, and distribution.


POLY4 is our flagship multi-nutrient fertiliser product. Made from polyhalite, it contains four of the six macro-nutrients and many micronutrients that are essential to plant growth. It allows farmers to maximize their crop yield, increase quality and improve soil structure with one simple product.





-Join us as a Tax Assistant , on a 12 month FTC where you will be part of the Crop Nutrients Finance team who support the wider business to ensure that they can meet the needs of stakeholders, whilst meeting their own strategic objectives and support the business growth. Providing analysis and reports to enable the business to plan their resources to deliver the project on timely and safe manor. Also supplying up stream reporting to the wider Anglo group performance against objectives.


This role will also have a functional relationship with the Group Tax team in respect of ensuring Group standards are upheld. Group Tax is a global function which seeks to drive value and contribute to commercial success by proactively managing tax risk by comprehensively meeting our worldwide tax compliance obligations and always aim to pay the right amount of tax at the right time.


Your responsibilities will include:



The preparation of tax related financial numbers to be used in annual statutory and group reporting. Creating and mapping cross functional processes to ensure business information relating to tax claims and liabilities is robust, reliable and effective. Collaborating with Group tax to prepare direct and indirect tax returns for Crop Nutrients. Assist with ad hoc tax related projects as required. Update and reconcile SAP bank account information Post and update cash book entries across overseas bank accounts Ensure we have the correct amount of cash to ensure we can cover our working capital requirements whilst also not breaching treasury policies for holding excess cash. Validate bank details and approve payment runs in SAP system Check and authorise payments in UK and overseas bank accounts for the BU for vendors, tax payments, and other ad hoc payments as required Supply treasury information regarding bank balances and statements to support weekly cash forecast and cash requests to the group Check and approve quarterly Certain Rent and large landowner lease amounts payment Create and issue AAWL and AACN Sales and Internal AA recharge invoices including payroll Provide treasury and bookkeeping support, information and reporting to our overseas entities. Coordinate information to support ONS (Office of National Statistics) survey returns Check and balance down payments and payments on account Maintain administration for Company Barclaycard - including personal data, credit limits, security blocks.

Qualifications

-Qualifications:

GCSE's / A Levels / Willingness for Further Study

Technical Knowledge:

Minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role Exceptional numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

Technical Skills:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to develop and sustain strong working relationships with the business and across the Finance function Ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines is key Good listener Calm and resilient Able to work on own initiative Adept with software systems, particularly an advanced MS Excel user Experience of SAP preferable (S4 Hana)
