Responsibilities:

Safeguarding is a priority and is everyone's responsibility. You will be expected to understand how to raise and report concerns. Training will be given to ensure that you are able to follow the correct procedures and how to identify potential child protection concerns

All pupils benefit from the directives of their EHCP. Most have social emotional and mental health needs.

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our office operations and ensuring efficient administrative processes.

Duties:

- Manage office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues

- Coordinate office procedures, including managing correspondence, calls, and visitors.

- Record Attendance and complete Safe and Well calls with families. Complete home visits if necessary.

- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and ordering new supplies as needed.

- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping.

- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation.

- Support the team with general administrative tasks to facilitate smooth operations.

- Support with completing risk assessments and log first aid incidents where required.

Skills:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

- Strong communication skills.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.

- IT skills for managing electronic files and databases.

- Previous experience working in a school with children, especially those with special needs would be an advantage..

We will require a completed Oakwood House application form as part of the shortlisting process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 20,000.00-22,000.00 per year
