WatchNation is one of the UK's leading independent watch retailers. Based in Hoole, Chester, we work directly with globally recognised brands including Seiko, Casio, Timex and Orient.
Established over 10 years ago, we are an
omnichannel business
, operating across our physical retail store, a rapidly growing domestic and international website, and key marketplaces including
Amazon and eBay
. Amazon and our DTC website are the
primary commercial drivers
of the business.
We're looking for an
Assistant Amazon Trading Manager
with strong commercial instincts and a hands-on approach. You'll play a key role in driving performance across a
global Amazon Seller Central account spanning 14+ international territories
, while also supporting wider marketplace activity including eBay.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced team at a pivotal stage of growth, with clear progression into a full Trading Manager role.
You'll also gain hands-on exposure to one of the most exciting parts of our business:
Cestrian
, our in-house watch brand, with new global collections launching in early 2026. This is a rare opportunity to be involved end-to-end -- from product launches and Amazon presentation to A+ content and brand storytelling -- helping shape an entry-level automatic watch brand designed to deliver exceptional quality and value on a global stage.
If you're commercially minded, confident with numbers, and motivated by seeing your work translate directly into real-world results, you'll thrive here.
Who We Are
We're a family-run, independent business with a collaborative team that moves quickly. Decisions are made fast, ideas are heard, and there's genuine visibility into how the business operates day to day.
There are no corporate layers or rigid hierarchies -- just people who care about doing things properly and improving week by week. You'll work closely with teams across trading, digital, operations, and customer services and see the direct impact of your work.
We value curiosity, accountability, and ownership. If you enjoy understanding how things work, spotting opportunities, and making meaningful improvements, you'll fit right in.
The Opportunity
WatchNation has been trading on Amazon for over a decade, growing from a UK-focused operation into an international marketplace business. We now operate across multiple European territories, as well as the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
We trade as a reseller of globally recognised watch brands, with a business model spanning both FBA and FBM. The majority of our volume is FBA-led, supported by FBM operations primarily within the UK. Across our Amazon accounts, we maintain a strong track record of positive customer reviews and consistently high seller ratings in every territory we operate.
2026 represents a major year of growth:
Continued Amazon expansion into new international territories
Further development of our newly rebuilt Shopify platform
New global brand partnerships joining our portfolio
Major international launches planned for Cestrian Watches
Identification of new commercial opportunities within Amazon
This is a
hands-on, commercially focused role
centred on supporting and optimising our Amazon Seller Central accounts across multiple territories. You'll work closely with the Amazon Account Manager to support growth, margin, and day-to-day trading performance, while helping to identify and drive new commercial initiatives.
Hybrid working is available after probation, with
three days per week based at our Chester HQ
. We are a Home Office-licensed sponsor.
