We have an exciting vacancy for an enthusiastic, positive and motivated individual to assist with managing our George 1V pub with experience in a very busy pub offering a wide of drinks including cask ales, food, and a warm and friendly welcome for our international students, staff and guests.
Candidates should have:
Experience in a bar/pub environment
Ability to deliver high levels of customer service in a high-volume environment
Ability to assist with planning and organising with the daily operation of the pub
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, customers, suppliers and colleagues
Ability to train, lead, motivate, and work with a team
What's essential is that you'll enjoy working within the team and will consistently deliver great service and standards. You'll be supporting the Bars Manager to consistently deliver great service and standards, and financial and stock management, therefore experience would be imperative.
Although this position is usually assigned to George 1V pub, all catering staff work flexibly and may be required to work in any of LSE Catering facilities. Working hours are varied and may involve early mornings, evenings and weekends. We offer straight shifts over an average 35-hour week.
