The Empourium Stafford

The Empourium Stafford is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, passionate and level headed Assistant Bar Manager to join our close knit team and run weekend shifts. The Empourium is a young, exciting and competitive business. As soon as our customers walk through the door, they will get that high energy buzz rush through them whilst feeling that competitive drive and you will be part of the team that delivers on that!

As an Assistant Manager, you will need to stay calm under pressure, be capable of inspiring and encouraging the bar and floor staff and be professional with customers at all times ensuring they are been offered the best service. You will support the Bar Manager with any complaints and any issues with staff. You will have the opportunity to come up with new promotional ideas and will be able to help shape the business.

Responsibilities:

To assist and support the manager in running the bar

To assist in managing, training and developing the team

To provide excellent customer service

Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained at all times

Strive towards and help drive sales through managing promotional staff

Ensuring food, cocktails, drink packages, music, games are all consistently at a high standard

Assist with the introduction of new cocktail and food menus

Hold the duties of a key holder

Essential Experience:

At least 1 year of management experience

At least 2 years in the hospitality industry

Able to come up with new exciting cocktails and food ideas. Able to train staff up to deliver this service.

Supporting with event planning

We are located in Market Street Stafford right at the heart of the town.

Required Hours:

Saturday and Sunday - evening shifts
