THE ASSISTANT B&F OUTLETS MANAGER
The Assistant B&F Outlets Manager supports the B&F Outlets Manager in overseeing the daily operations of W London's food, beverage, and event outlets. This role plays a hands-on leadership position -- ensuring service excellence, smooth coordination across outlets, and consistent delivery of the W brand experience. Working closely with outlet supervisors, bar leads, and the culinary and events teams, the Assistant B&F Outlets Manager helps maintain high operational standards, supports team development, and drives guest satisfaction while ensuring compliance and profitability targets are met.
The Assistant B&F Outlets Manager lives the W brand -- confident, energetic, and always in the action. They lead from the floor, inspire the team, and ensure every guest interaction -- from the first breakfast plate to the final nightcap -- delivers the distinctive, stylish, and vibrant experience that defines W London.
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum 3-4 years' experience in luxury or lifestyle hospitality, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong understanding of premium food and beverage service and guest experience delivery.
Hands-on leader with a proactive, approachable, and solution-focused attitude.
Proven experience in breakfast service operations and knowledge of LQA quality standards.
Excellent communicator and motivator with strong interpersonal skills.
Flexible and adaptive to changing operational demands.
Passionate about hospitality, guest engagement, and the W brand culture.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
YOUR ROLE IN THE SPOTLIGHT
Operational Support & Floor Leadership
Oversee daily service operations across restaurant, bar, in-room dining, and event outlets.
Provide visible leadership on the floor, ensuring standards, pace, and energy align with W London's brand.
Take particular ownership of breakfast service operations, ensuring smooth delivery, team readiness, and consistent quality that aligns with brand and LQA expectations.
Support shift planning, team deployment, and pre-service briefings.
Maintain smooth service flow and communication between the kitchen, bar, and floor teams.
Identify and resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
Ensure venue setups, cleanliness, and guest areas meet brand and safety standards.
Team Supervision & Development
Support and motivate outlet supervisors, bartenders, and service teams to achieve service and sales targets.
Conduct on-the-job coaching and training focused on guest interaction, service recovery, and brand storytelling.
Reinforce team accountability, engagement, and professionalism during every shift.
Assist in onboarding new team members and coordinating departmental training sessions.
Promote a positive and inclusive team culture aligned with W's creative, bold, and vibrant ethos.
Guest Experience & Brand Engagement
Deliver a consistent, on-brand guest experience across all outlets and service points.
Ensure service standards meet LQA requirements, with meticulous attention to detail, timing, and tone.
Interact directly with guests, handling feedback and ensuring quick service recovery.
Support initiatives that enhance personalization and guest connection.
Ensure service moments reflect W's unique tone, energy, and attention to detail.
Champion the guest journey from check-in to last call, ensuring continuity between outlets.
Events & Cross-Department Collaboration
Support coordination and execution of on-property events and activations.
Attend BEO meetings as needed to stay informed on event details and communicate service requirements to outlet teams.
Ensure seamless collaboration between Events, Culinary, and Operations teams for flawless execution.
Supervise service teams during functions, ensuring setup, service, and breakdown meet brand standards.
Financial & Administrative Support
Assist the B&F Outlets Manager in monitoring sales, revenue, and COGS targets.
Support with inventory checks, ordering, and stock rotation.
Maintain accurate records for shift reports, cash handling, and daily performance metrics.
Contribute to achieving financial goals through effective upselling and cost awareness.
Compliance & Standards
Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are consistently upheld.
Monitor adherence to liquor licensing and company policies.
Conduct regular service inspections and support implementation of corrective actions.
Maintain compliance with brand standards and operational SOPs.
