As Assistant Bid Manager you play an integral part within the Work Winning team in the development and delivery of project winning bids and the management of the bid process. You will be involved from development of initial win strategies through to submission and successful contract award.

The role provides an ideal development opportunity for someone who is keen to develop their bidding and project management skills. They will get to understand the objectives of the Work Winning team and will be part of the team that responds to these objectives through bid management and the production of compelling materials through bid and proposal management. This will include delivering well written responses, and the desktop publishing elements of tender submissions.

Accountabilities

  • In conjunction with the Work Winning leadership team, establish specific bid strategy based on market intelligence and information from the appropriate Operations lead for respective opportunities
  • Support Senior Bid Managers with assigned tender opportunities from pqq to finish, including planning and executing capture strategies, as well as working with the team to maximise Lendlease\xe2\x80\x99s ability to ultimately secure the strategic opportunities.
  • Ensure strategic messaging (Golden Thread) runs throughout a tender
  • Supporting Senior Bid Managers to complete all steps of the pursuit proposal process and adhere to producing content and a final product of the highest quality by ensuring all bids are managed in a manner consistent with Lendlease\xe2\x80\x99s governance, policies and procedures. This will include
  • Ensuring the production and management of bid programmes
  • Overseeing bid strategy meetings to define and conclude on win themes and approach to bid delivery
  • Leading answer planning to best structure responses, monitor progress in line with those programmes and intervene when required.
  • Manage the internal governance process
  • Ensure quality and attractiveness of bid is maximised through strategy challenge sessions, technical reviews, evaluation of Client Value Propositions (CVPs) and the like. This includes ensuring the proposal meets the clients needs
  • Playing an integral part in the production of bid submissions via desktop publishing (in-design)
  • Ensure bids are of the highest quality and completed on time. Ensure the deal is effectively communicated along with benefits, added value and points of positive differentiation. This includes presentations.
  • Develop knowledge and awareness of industry developments and trends, ensuring the development and execution of work winning initiatives in accordance with best practice industry standards.
