At Pimes, we're currently seeking an experienced, engaging and enthusiastic Assistant Business Manager to join our growing luxury retail team. This position will be full time (37.5hrs) and based on the new Fara Homidi Beauty counter in the Beauty Workshop at Selfridges, Oxford Street.
Overview:
As Assistant Business Manager, you will work closely with the Business Manager, leading the permanent and agency team members in achieving brand goals in sales, productivity and service. We expect consistently high standards of service and believe that passionate and disciplined management is essential in ensuring this. You will support the business manager in achieving counter targets whilst guaranteeing that exceptional retail standards are upheld by the whole team. The role requires a manager with the proven ability to successfully coach and develop fellow staff. You will represent the brand to the consumer, be an ambassador of the brand, and deliver above and beyond for each and every customer. You will focus on the acquisition and retention of customers through tactical targeting, first-rate customer relationship management and the diligent leadership of your team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the business manager in ensuring the success of the brand at Selfridges through the delivery of outstanding customer service, offering an exceptional experiences to both local and international consumers
Building and maintaining positive business relationships with clients
Growing and preserving strong working relations with all levels of Pimes, the brand and Selfridges management and team
Demonstrating exceptional product knowledge with an ability to inspire fellow team members
Exhibiting a high standard of product application as well as ingredient/production knowledge
Performing accurate colour matching best suited to the customer's wants and needs
Supporting the business manager with regular training/recap sessions to reinforce team learning
Bringing energy & positivity to every interaction
Ensuring that you know and achieve the brands sales targets & agreed KPI's and that the wider team are briefed on these too
Confirming that all team members are aligned with both the values and vision of the brand as well as the host store's values and policies
Always adhering to the highest professional standards
Replenishing stock and maintaining high standards of merchandise and presentation
Occasional support with staff scheduling
Supporting with the management of the counters inventory and facilities with a focus on operational excellence
Shared responsibility with the reports required by both the brand and the host store's management team, which should be completed on time and to a high standard, in regard to inventory information, sales reports/reviews as well as business plans and analysis
Driving the account's data capture and NPS while maintaining the best GDPR standards
Maintaining good knowledge of key competitors and industry trends to be shared with other team members
The Individual:
Proof of right to live and work in the country
Prior experience working with luxury retail brands at a senior level, preferably within beauty
Prior experience working with makeup
Proven track record of coaching and developing staff
Ability to adapt to frequent change and high-pressure environments
Positive can do attitude
Passionate about beauty, make up and luxury retail
Able to build and maintain business relationships with clients and fellow staff
Excellent communicator
Gifted storyteller
Highly professional
Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
A true leader: someone able to drive and motivate a team of people to achieve sales and service targets, while keeping up morale
Experience in cash reconciliation
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Analytical skills
Commercial understanding with knowledge around the creation of business plans
Flexible to work across days/hours that best suit the business needs
Knowledge of best practice surrounding GDPR
