Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking an Assistant Buyer based in Milton Keynes for a publishing company.

Salary: \xc2\xa328,000 \xe2\x80\x93 \xc2\xa334,000 per annum
Job Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time
Hours: Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday 8:30am \xe2\x80\x93 5:00pm

The role\xe2\x80\xa6

As the Assistant Buyer your role will involve the following important duties:

• Buy content from publishers to achieve company goals.
• Provide initial forecasts.
• Submit reorders.
• Analyse sell-through and market trends.
• Manage inventory levels and fill rate through a combination of forecasting, buying, returns and DC transfers.
• Manage Purchase Orders.
• Analyse vendor activity reports.

The experience required\xe2\x80\xa6

As a successful Assistant Buyer, you will have the following:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree within a relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of Buying experience within the publishing/book industry.
• Inventory management and purchasing experience.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong IT skills.
