Responsibilities

Supervise head chef and kitchen staff and coordinate daily food preparation activities to ensure timely service. Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front house management to enhance overall dining experience through innovative culinary offerings.

Experience

Proven experience as a Chef / Assistant Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively, with excellent supervisory skills. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes that delight customers.
