Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Catering Manager to oversee our catering operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food production, ensuring that all events are executed seamlessly. This role requires excellent team management abilities and a hands-on approach to supervising food preparation and service. The Assistant Catering Manager will work closely with the Catering Manager, kitchen staff, bartenders, and service teams to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and visitors.

Duties



Lead and manage the catering team, providing guidance and support in food production and service. Supervise food preparation processes in the kitchen, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Train and mentor team members in food handling, presentation, and customer service standards. Manage inventory levels of food supplies and kitchen equipment to ensure efficient operations. Coordinate, and execute catering events, ensuring all details are attended to from start to finish. Oversee bartending services during events, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and responsible service of alcohol. Locking up and cash management, including cashing the till

Requirements



Proven experience in a catering or restaurant management role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail in event planning and execution. Experience in supervising food preparation processes and ensuring quality control. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, staff, and vendors. Previous experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
