Assistant Catering Manager - Permanent Position

25 hours per week

(5hrs/day. Within school core catering hours 8:30am - 2:30pm)

Monday to Friday (Term Time Only + 7 days)

Band 4 SCP 4. 12.65 (pay award April 25 to be added on once agreed)

Start Date - September 2025

Silsden Primary School manage our own catering provision and are looking to recruit a flexible, enthusiastic and highly committed Assistant Catering Manager to join our existing team of Catering Staff.

We are looking for someone with a positive approach to this key role. Relevant catering experience is preferable but not essential. Full training will be given for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

To support the school Catering Manager to provide a complete catering service within a school environment.

To work as part of a team to prepare, cook and serve over 350 meals for a set time and in accordance with Quality Procedures.

Prepare the dining room and service area. Serve the meal attractively and hygienically.

Support our Catering Manager with stock taking, food ordering, checking deliveries and relevant records keeping.
