Job Summary

We are seeking 3 dedicated and passionate Assistant Chefs to join our culinary team. The ideal candidates will assist in food preparation and production, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are maintained in the kitchen. This role requires a blend of culinary skills, leadership abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking. Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Supervise kitchen staff during service periods, providing guidance and support as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Skills

Proficient in food preparation and culinary techniques with a strong understanding of food production processes. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong communication skills, fostering a positive working atmosphere within the team.
