Stewarding Department

As an

Assistant Chief Steward

, your main duties and expectations for the role will include:


To issue to and ensure that departments have the correct supply of cutlery, crockery and silver for use at all times. To ensure that all staff have been fully trained in the use of all equipment and machinery, and following policies/legal requirements.

Check cleaning quality vs standard set for all areas of responsibilities.

To ensure all members of the team are achieving their daily tasks and assist the Deputy Chief steward in any additional tasks required for the operation

Spot check that daily safety checklists are being completed in all implemented areas and action where necessary.

Experience in managing a large team gained from an hotel background.

You will be required to work such hours as are necessary to fulfil their duties and, in any event, not less than hours.
