About the Role





As an

Assistant Colleague Services Manager

, you'll play a vital role in ensuring Aviva colleagues enjoy a seamless, high-quality experience across their UK offices. You'll support the delivery of facilities services, uphold standards, and act as a key ambassador for Mitie and Aviva. This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to make a real impact across multiple sites.


Key Responsibilities




Manage contracted facilities services across designated sites, ensuring alignment with Mitie's operational standards and Aviva's expectations. Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and teams to deliver service excellence. Support subcontractor management, including RAMS reviews, permit issuing, and compliance. Maintain accurate records, monitor performance via CAFM systems, and ensure SLA/KPI targets are met. Lead and support staff recruitment, training, and development, promoting a "One Team" ethos. Ensure health & safety compliance, support audits, and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate on event delivery, sustainability initiatives, and seasonal programmes (e.g., winter gritting). Participate in the on-call rota and support cross-site learning and innovation.

What We're Looking For




Proven experience in Facilities Management within a large, high-profile office environment. Strong understanding of FM operations, H&S compliance, and statutory requirements. IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent) certification. Excellent stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills. Experience managing both hard and soft services, with a focus on service excellence. Confident communicator with strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. Proficient in Microsoft applications and operational finance (WIP, billing, debt management).
