Portico have an amazing opportunity available for an Assistant Guest Services Manager, to join our brand-new team based at the City offices of a global consultancy firm.

Our guest services team will need to have a special can-do, flexible approach and relish the opportunity to keep raising the bar, exceeding expectations at every opportunity.
The new Assistant Guest Services Manager will join an existing team who play a key role in several areas, based around the meet and greet provided to the firm's staff and visitors, as well as the management and facilitation of meeting rooms, handling of incoming telephone calls, emails, and queries.
Not only will the Assistant Guest Services Manager help the Guest Services Manager to oversee the team, managing the supervisors to train, develop and coach team members and ensure the highest level of customer service is consistently provided. They will offer statistics and strategic oversight of the guest services account and help the Guest Services Manager to review and evolve the client experience and journey. To do this successfully, they will need to understand the client, contract service level agreements and monitor the team to ensure their delivery of service is in line with the agreed upon criteria.
They guide the guest services team through the full employee lifecycle. From overseeing the recruitment process, holding performance-based and welfare discussions, through to conducting exit interviews with leavers.
As this is a new contract for Portico, there will undoubtably be room for the team to identify innovative and efficient ways to add value to our services, upholding and improving on the already world class offering provided by the team. Hours: 40 hours per week, with rotating shifts between 7:30am-7pm, from Monday to Friday
Salary: 48,000 per annum
Qualifications
To join the team, you will be an efficient and organized team player with strong communication skills.
A high level of personal presentation and a proactive approach will be valuable for our new Assistant Guest Services Manager, as well as the natural desire to embrace change.
A customer-focused approach is imperative for this role, so the successful candidate will have some experience in delivering a top end level of customer service, within an environment that has extremely high expectations.
Experience of Managing a large and diverse team within a similar environment is also essential, as well as familiarity with disciplinary and HR discussion protocol.
