We're looking for an

Assistant Contract Account Manager

to join our thriving commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established supplies specialist which provides a diverse product range including; Adhesives, Tapes, Sealants, PPE, Tools, Paints and Janitorial supplies to blue-chip organisations on a contract basis.

You would be reporting into our Contract Account Managers and Commercial Manager, with your main responsibilities including obtaining and negotiating pricing, expediting customer orders, attending customer contract review meetings and assisting in projects to improve contract performance and develop contract accounts.

Primary Responsibilities:



Managing request for quotations to obtain and negotiate pricing for contract or potential contract items. Assisting the Contract Account Manager with reviewing stock levels for key customer product lines to improve contract performance. Assisting the Contract Account Manager in expediting customer orders, and offering innovative solutions to ensure delivery targets are met. Analysing trends relating to contract performance and identifying areas for improvement, making recommendations to the Contract Account Manager and Commercial Manager for how these can be implemented. Assisting the Commercial Manager in ensuring both external and internal contract documentation is up to date. Managing contract customer issues and providing prompt solutions. Identifying additional opportunities and developing them with the Contract Account Manager to widen Contract scopes. Assisting in delivering timely contract mobilisation; ensuring accurate product, supplier and trade agreement information is uploaded into the ERP system and that mobilisation activities are explained and implemented on time to enable smooth automation of the contract from the start.
This role is

ideally suited candidates with a minimum of 1 year's commercial work experience

looking to take on a new challenge, and a good degree in one of the following subjects: Business Studies, Economics, Supply Chain or Logistics, who want a career in a commercial environment and are willing to work hard to progress quickly.

Key Skills & Attributes:



Analytical thinker enjoys reviewing data and resolving problems. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to multi-task, being flexible, determining priorities to meet multiple deadlines. Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Precise, accurate and meticulous. Reliable, pro-active and self-confident.
