We require an assistant contracts manager to assist our contracts team in the construction of self-storage centres within the UK.
The applicant should have basic previous experience in the running of construction projects, be happy to have their base in Billingshurst West Sussex and willing travel in the Company van provided. There will be a requirement to stay overnight in hotels at times.
There will be an opportunity to progress upwards through the Company over time as we grow our customer base.
Responsibilities
To monitor safety on our sites
To liaise with our on site managers to ensure program is being maintained
Report to senior managers about safety and progress
To be an active part of our team in bringing the projects in on time and on budget
Requirements
Proven experience in contract management, preferably within the construction industry.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract outcomes.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members.
A valid driving licence is essential for travel between sites as required.
SMSTS trained or above essential
