Operating from our Site Office nr. St Neots the successful candidate will assist the existing management team to deliver a range of commercial landscaping and maintenance contracts nationwide.
Ideally applicants will already have a minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar role preferably within the commercial contracting sector. Due to the nature of the role staying away and travel will be required, accommodation will be provided.

Person Specification
Knowledge -
A good understanding of commercial contracting within the landscaping, fencing, grounds maintenance or the construction/civils industries would be beneficial.
Qualifications -
Ideally candidates will possess a relevant qualification equivalent to level 5 or higher in addition to standard industry qualifications such as Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS), Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS), Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS).
Experience -
Candidates will ideally have:
A minimum of 2 year's managerial or supervisory experience within a site-based construction environment.
An understanding of the fundamental aspects of contract management.
Experience in the compilation of health and safety documentation.
Skills -

Main Duties
- Initially the successful candidate will report to and will work in unison with the Senior Contract Manager and Contract Manager to achieve the successful delivery of existing landscaping contracts. Subject to experience, over time training will be provided and the role will become more autonomous whereby the candidate will become wholly responsible for their own projects and the delivery of contracts from inception to completion. This role is a nationwide role due to the nature of our projects and therefore lodging will be required.
Typical duties will include:
Assisting the Senior Contract Manager in the day-to-day planning and delivery of landscaping contracts Nationwide.
Contract administration, procurement, site auditing and data capture.
Communicate and coordinate with our existing clients and site teams to ensure all contracts are delivered on time and to budget.
Delivery and review of health and safety systems in the field.
Identify and develop business opportunities with new and existing clients.
Training Delivery
- Subject to existing experience and qualifications held, selective training will be delivered to the candidate through a combination of in-house training and external consultancy / training providers.
