We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented

Assistant Controller

to join our finance team, supporting a portfolio of real estate client accounts. This role is suited to professionals with strong technical accounting expertise and a collaborative mindset, looking to contribute to a high-performing environment.


Key Responsibilities



Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports for real estate entities, including IFRS and UK Local GAAP accounts. Coordinate financial data flow between clients, fund teams, property managers, and local accountants. Oversee governance, compliance, and documentation for property companies. Support tax and regulatory reporting, including VAT, CIT, deferred tax, and property tax. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis at the property level. Manage intercompany reconciliations, loan compliance reporting, and cash distribution planning. Supervise audits and support transaction activities such as acquisitions, disposals, and entity lifecycle events. Collaborate with treasury, legal, and asset management teams to ensure accurate financial oversight.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Part or fully qualified Chartered/Certified Accountant designation preferred. Background in accounting for real estate funds, SPVs, and holding companies is preferred but not essential. Strong knowledge of VAT, CIT, IFRS, and Local GAAP. Excellent analytical skills and sound professional judgement. Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
