Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team And help run our new Musical Theatre dance class in sidcup opening in February.

This role would be every Tuesday afternoon 4:45pm-5:45pm. pay will be based on experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching dance, with experience working with diverse groups, including children ages 6-16 . This role offers an opportunity to inspire and support students of all ages and abilities through engaging dance programmes, fostering confidence, coordination, and creativity. The position is paid and involves delivering high-quality instruction in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

Adapt teaching methods to accommodate all students Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and enjoyment of dance Collaborate with parents, carers, and colleagues to monitor progress and address individual needs Create a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines during classes Organise performances or showcases to celebrate student achievements Maintain organised lesson plans, attendance records, and progress reports

Qualifications

Proven experience in teaching dance Must hold a paediatric first aid certificate and have a clear DBS
