East London's leading dancing school, full time dance college & talent agency is looking for a fun, talented & energetic dance teacher/dance instructor for new and existing classes during evenings & weekends.

Since launching in 2021, Adore Dance London has grown to offer many weekly adults & children dance classes to the local community. And we're just getting started! You'll be joining a world-class team under the guidance of Principal Teacher & Founder, Connor Taylor, world professional dancer turned multi-qualified dance teacher and BBC/Guardian/Metro/Independent featured dance expert.

We have continued to launch new classes every month since we opened, with a sold-out response and have just moved into our own dedicated dance facility (no more community halls!). Many teachers who started with us less than a year ago, are already benefitting from this growth, and teaching up to 30 hours per week.

In September 2025, we opened London's freshest dance college, offering full time opportunities to 16-18-year-olds. There is potential for dance teachers already on our team to take part in weekday daytime hours as the college launches and develops.

This Dance Teacher role becomes available because of tremendous growth and the launch of a new of classes. You'll not only teach set classes but also get to launch classes in your own styles & try new things. There are cover opportunities available also.

Schedule


We have an open and ongoing need for this role, and welcome teachers with availability evenings/weekends.

We specifically have a need for teachers:



Sundays, 9am - 12pm


Children's Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Street Dance and/or Acro classes



The successful candidate will be teach a minimum of 3 hours in a row per week, with the view to increase to 5 hours in a row per week. Plus, adhoc covering opportunities (0-10 hours per month)

The Role



Be a dance teacher & permanent educator with dance teacher certification - not a dance artist between jobs Hold a relevant dance teacher certification such as IDTA Lv4, ISTD DDE or RAD QTS (applicants who expect to qualify within 1 year also accepted) Deliver 3-10 hours (depending on experience) of weekly evening/weekend classes to adults & children with enthusiasm, passion & care in accordance with industry best practices Run fun & friendly dance classes for adults & children Partner with the company leaders & other teachers to plan future class launches, playing to your strengths as a dancer, as well as, challenging yourself to try new styles if desired Excellent communication both during class, and to encourage trial classes to sign-up to a membership Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals Provide a fun, welcoming & friendly environment for all students Regular class cover opportunities for additional hours (optional) Regular professional dancing and modelling opportunities for additional hours (optional)

Minimum Requirements

You are a dance teacher & educator, not an artist or performer (Performer CVs will be discounted) You hold (or will hold within 1 year) a relevant dance teacher certification such as IDTA Lv4, ISTD DDE or RAD QTS 3+ Years Training/Industry Experience - As a professional dancer and/or full-time training 2+ Years Teaching Experience -

Minimum of 2 years of dance teaching experience, preferably with both adults & children on a weekly basis

(ad-hoc workshops or covering do not count)

Particular interest & teaching experience in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial & more Street Dance & World Dance styles are also desirable Enthusiastic, passionate, patient, reliable and self-disciplined Inspiring Teaching style to both adults & children, whilst being adaptable to total beginner and intermediate/advanced dancers Ego-free and willing to improve, accept feedback and grow as a dancer, teacher & ambassador Professional Dance Teaching Qualifications desirable (IDTA/ISTD/RAD etc.) Enhanced DBS / ability to attain one and own insurance
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 20.00-30.00 per hour
