East London's leading dancing school is looking for a fun, talented & energetic assistant dance teacher for our weekend class schedule.
Since launching in 2021, Adore Dance London has grown to offer many weekly adults & children dance classes to the local community. And we're just getting started! You'll be joining a world-class team under the guidance of Principal Teacher & Founder, Connor Taylor, world professional dancer turned multi-qualified dance teacher and BBC/Guardian/Metro/Independent featured dance expert.
2025 has been an exciting year as we settle into our new home at our great facility in Hackney Wick (no more community halls!) and launch our full time dance college in September!
This role is perfect for somebody who has experience dancing themselves and are looking to progress into teaching. You'll be working alongside an experienced and qualified teacher so it will be a fantastic learning opportunity.

The successful candidate will be assisting a minimum of 3 hours, with the view to increase as desired.

The Role
Assist the main teacher in delivery of children's dance classes with enthusiasm, passion & care in accordance with industry best practices
Excellent communication both during class, and to encourage trial classes to sign-up to a membership
Engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals
Provide a fun, welcoming & friendly environment for all students
Opportunity to progress to a dance teacher running your own classes
Opportunity to study your dance teacher qualifications (RAD/IDTA)
Minimum Requirements

Are looking for teaching work, not performing (Performer CVs will be discounted)
5+ Years Dance Experience - As a student of your local dance school (as an adult or child)
Passion for working with children and strong desire to become a dance teacher

This might be your first job or you're early in your career, as long as you have experience dancing, we'd love to hear from you
Particular interest & experience in Acro, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Commercial & more
Enthusiastic, passionate, patient, reliable and self-disciplined
Ego-free and willing to improve, accept feedback and grow as a dancer, teacher & ambassador
Enhanced DBS (we can help you get one if needed)
Contractor role - you're willing to be self-employed (we can help you if needed)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 13.85-15.00 per hour
