About the role


Balfour Beatty are currently looking for an Assistant Data Controller to join their Power T&D Business in Derby

Role purpose:

To provide efficient and effective general administrative and organisation duties to support the Design and Engineering function.

To manage data adherence, reporting and provide help and guidance to the wider Power Design and Engineering team on the use of Executive system.
What you'll be doing


Responsibilities:

The general administration of our internally developed system, PARAM. This includes data validity and setting direction for improvements to the system.
Covering PARAM reporting, (to include weekly timesheet adherence, KPIs, monthly financial and commercial reporting) when data controller is on leave.
Facilitating the governance board. Ensuring any major changes are captured robustly and driven through the process with detailed communications and training plans in place if needed.
Change management (PaRaM)
Management of the BMC issues log. Monitoring of close out rates and drive to get timely resolutions to any issues raised.
Assist the team in ordering of PPE. Provide guidance and relevant product information via the PPE suppliers brochures and website
Management of travel booking for the whole D&E team
Ordering and maintenance of office stationery requirements
Booking of training courses for members of the D&E team where required


Who we're looking for


Organisational skills - ability to manage own workload

Detailed knowledge of Microsoft packages, especially Excel

Communication skills - ability to communicate at all levels of the business

Can work well in a team and on own initiative
