Assistant Deputy Manager
To ensure the safe and effective running of the nursery in the absence of the Manager and Deputy Manager
To ensure all regulations and requirements within the EYFS and Ofsted are followed at all times
Ensure effective running and coordination of all sessions including staff deployment in line with staff ratios requirements, supporting staff and ensuring safety of children
To understand and work to nursery policies and procedures and risk assessments including how to deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies
To work in partnership with parents and to be available to address any queries or concerns
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the management and trustees as required
Deputy Safeguarding Lead
Deputy safeguard lead to work with, or act in the absence of, the DSL to follow all safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures.
To liaise with the management and trustees, social services and other professionals as necessary and ensure that all legal and statutory requirements are implemented; to provide reports as required.
Provide support, advice and guidance to staff ensuring all staff know how to raise concerns
To liaise with parents where concerns are raised and to provide support as needed and where appropriate
Room Leader
Liaise and work closely working with management
To prepare and lead regular room team meetings and to support in the manager and deputy manager in regular staff meetings
Communicate effectively with staff ensuring all information is clear and well organised including rotas and planning
Ensuring that staff are properly deployed at all times and correct staff; child ratios are adhered too raising any concerns immediately
To create an environment where all staff are valued, treated equally and are encouraged to share ideas and try new activities
To know, understand and implement the company's safeguarding policies and procedures and company's policies and procedures
To plan and deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and to provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
To monitor the effectiveness of the curriculum through the statutory and non-statutory assessments
Be responsible for monitoring the quality of teaching feeding back any training requirements or gap in staff knowledge
To organise provision and implement any actions to ensure that all children have the same opportunities to thrive and achieve their potential
Liaise with the SENCo and management to provide support for the children with additional needs or who require support plans
To liaise closely with parents/carers
