Our client, Taylor Woodrow, a leading infrastructure and civil engineering specialist, is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to join their growing team and support the delivery of high-profile infrastructure projects across the Midlands and North.
In this role, you will play a key part in managing the design aspects of highways, public realm, and structures schemes. You'll collaborate closely with consultants, interpret technical drawings, identify challenges, and drive solutions that align with construction methods and project timelines.
Key Duties:
Manage design coordination across multiple infrastructure projects.
Interpret and review drawings, identifying risks and proposing solutions.
Liaise with consultants to ensure timely delivery of design packages.
Support the Design Manager and collaborate with the Assistant Information Manager.
Contribute to the development of design management processes and support team growth.
Person Specification:
Strong design background, ideally with contractor-side experience.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and manage design consultants.
Understanding of construction methods and infrastructure project delivery.
Degree qualified (preferred) or significant demonstrable experience.
Full UK driving licence.
