Assistant Event Safety Officer

to help ensure the safety and compliance of our stadium and events.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the safe and compliant delivery of events at Scottish Gas Murrayfield and other venues, in line with the Guide to Safety at Sports Grounds and relevant legislation. Act as the nominated safety representative or deputy on event days, making key safety decisions and ensuring operational readiness. Assist with the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and maintenance plans for stadium safety systems. Maintain accurate documentation and deliver briefings and training to promote safety awareness and compliance.

What We're Looking For:

A strong understanding of event safety legislation and best practices. Experience in stadium or large venue operations is desirable. Excellent communication and decision-making skills. Ability to work collaboratively and confidently under pressure.
