What does the role look like?
You'll assist and support the Facilities Manager and where allocated, leading on providing day to day operational management for all property services to ensure that all Danske Bank premises and their environments are maintained and operated to a high standard. Prioritising health and safety and the safe operation of all plant and equipment is paramount.
Key responsibilities include:

• Operational Management: Assist in the day-to-day management of all property services activities.
• Health and Safety: Ensure the safety of building users and the proper functioning of equipment.
• Facilities Management: Assist in the management of resources to deliver hard and soft facilities management services.
• Maintenance Programs: Deliver and monitor planned preventative maintenance programs.
• Contract Management: Ensure outsourced contracted services are delivered effectively.
• Reactive Response: Respond to reactive events in a proactive manner.

Your skills:
Essential

• A facilities management, engineering or building construction / services related qualification (HNC/HND, degree)
• Experience delivering facilities, infrastructure or building services projects
• Commercially astute with budget management and risk mitigation expertise
• A valid UK driving licence and the flexibility to travel each week across sites

Preferred

• IOSH or NEBOSH certification
• Membership of a professional body (e.g. CIOB, CIBSE, IMechE)
• Experience using CAFM systems

How we work
Our belief is that we are "Better when Together" and want to balance the benefits of teaming up in person with flexible working where possible. We will be supportive and flexible to your circumstances, so for roles that offer a hybrid option we ask colleagues to attend their base location a minimum of 3 days a week so they can connect, collaborate and learn together. The other 2 days can be worked either from home or another bank location. Some of our roles are customer facing which means that it's really important to be able to work with customers face to face and hybrid working isn't appropriate.
