Assistant F&B Manager!



We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts, along with excellent leadership and supervisory skills. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services, enhancing guest satisfaction while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities



Assist in overseeing daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring exceptional service delivery Day-to-day oversight of service across Restaurant, Bar, C&B and ensuring consistency, ambience and guest satisfaction. Staff leadership, including assisting with recruitment, training, and motivating FOH team members. Guest experience enhancement, continuously maintaining high standards and intervening promptly to resolve guest concerns. Inventory control & stock ordering, Oversee inventory levels of food, beverages, and operational supplies to ensure seamless service delivery. Service coordination, Collaborate with chefs, food and beverage teams and event coordinators to ensure smooth execution of service across all food and beverage outlets. Manage restaurant seating plans, afternoon tea sessions, private dining arrangements, and special events to maintain consistency in service quality, guest experience, and operational efficiency. Cost control & financial monitoring, control of all costs and stock to ensure profitability within the food and beverage department Quality control & compliance, ensuring health & hygiene standards, licensing, allergen handling and safety protocols in line with hotel policy and legislation Assist in menu planning, including the selection of ingredients and presentation styles. Provide training and support to staff on food safety practices, cooking techniques, and customer service excellence. Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to implement promotional activities that enhance guest experience. Handle guest inquiries and feedback promptly, ensuring satisfaction with their dining experience.

Experience



Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment, with a strong emphasis on food production and culinary skills. Previous supervisory or team management experience is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations. Experience in barista duties or similar roles is advantageous. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff alike.
