We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our team as a Assistant Finance Analyst. In this role, you will support the Operational Finance and Financial Control teams, assisting with core finance processes and stakeholder engagement. It offers hands-on experience across month-end reporting, vendor management, and financial analysis.
What's the job?:
Produce and maintain financial reports, tracking invoice performance, Duty to Report metrics, and related KPIs.
Provide month-end support through accruals, journals, P&L reviews, and consolidation submissions (Hyperion).
Prepare documentation and analysis for senior stakeholders, while building strong relationships and improving tools/templates.
Assist with project work such as statutory accounts preparation, impairment reviews, and other Financial Control initiatives.
Support vendor management activities, including vendor setup, invoice processing, and monthly spend reviews.
Handle ad-hoc finance queries across expenses, invoices, payments, and cost centres, liaising with FP&A and Shared Services.
What you'll bring:
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work with formulas and data sets.
This role would suit an individual looking to study an accountancy qualification, or someone part-qualified, with an interest in gaining experience in a large international retail environment.
Ability to work to reporting deadlines and manage time effectively.
Experience with SAP or Hyperion (HFM) is advantageous.
Exposure to accruals, month-end reporting, or management accounting is a plus
