This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Finance Manager to join a reputable company in the business services sector. The role is based in Stevenage and involves overseeing financial processes and ensuring accurate reporting.

Running Sage Payroll accurately and efficiently
Supporting monthly management accounts and month-end close
Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintaining and updating Excel-based financial reports
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Supporting day-to-day finance operations and ad hoc finance tasks

A successful Assistant Finance Manager should have:
Proven experience using Sage Payroll (essential) * Strong Excel skills (comfortable with formulas and data manipulation)

Solid all-round finance experience
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
